Intellectual Property Rights
- The Intellectual Property Rights Management in NHRI is handled by the Technology Transfer Office (TTO). You may contact Dr. Leah Loh, Chief of the TTO, if you need further information.

- 7. Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)
- 7.1. On the date of the commencement of employment in NHRI, the Employee shall submit a List of Prior Intellectual Properties ("List of Prior Intellectual Properties") which states all IPRs, if any, developed or created by Employee, alone or with others, registerable or not, before this Agreement in which Employee claims any ownership or right. Unless otherwise permitted by law or approved by the rightful owner of the IPRs, the Employee shall not use or violate against the trade secrets or intellectual property rights of the others during the employment in NHRI.
- 7.2. Subject to the exclusions of Article 7.1, the Employee hereby assigns to the NHRI all of Employee's rights, title, and interest in and to any work, inventions and improvements performed, and all materials, creations, designs, information, and other tangible and intangible matter (whether or not patentable or registerable under copyright or similar laws) developed or created by Employee, alone or with others, during the term of employment with the Employer, including but not limited to, all related copyright, patent, trademark, and other intellectual property rights ("Creations").
- 7.3. The Employee agrees to promptly furnish and with no cost to the Employer complete information of any and all inventions and improvements that the Employee developed, conceived, made, or first disclosed during the period of this employment. Employee agrees to provide all necessary assistance to the Employer during and after the term of this Agreement in every reasonable way to secure the Employer??s rights in the Creations and any copyrights, patents or other intellectual property rights therein in any and all countries, and in order to assign and convey to the Employer the sole and exclusive rights, title, and interest in and to such Creations, and any copyrights, patents, or other intellectual property rights relating thereto.
- All colleagues from foreign countries and do not use Madarin are required to sign an Employment Agreement in English (in MS Word format).
